The Schools section of Commonwealth Education Online is the most extensive and broadest account on primary, secondary and pre-University education in the Commonwealth. The section is divided into 54 country sub-sections. Each country sub-section on schools is designed to provide information on key indicators and statistics on enrolment, gender parity and on the availability of teachers, as well as the key stages and qualifications offered by education systems on entering secondary school, post-secondary, and further and higher education. Much attention has also been paid to the independent and private school sector, which contributes considerably to the maintenance of high standards of education and attainment of universal access for all students from all income classes.
