Catering and restaurant
We have a fully equipped kitchen and restaurant that serves a capacity of 500 people at any given time. Guests have an option to dine at the main restaurant or at the poolside restaurant. The restaurant serves a healthy cuisine with an international touch as well as local cultural dishes. We specialise in à la carte, table d’hôte and buffet menus. Menus can also be tailor-made to suit individual tastes.
We offer good, standard accommodation with conveniences such as wireless internet and flat screen television with premium movie channels. In the evening, guests can unwind at our poolside bar that has a wide selection of drinks.

Executive Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance – Baringo County
The Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) has partnered with the College of Insurance to train, examine and issue certificates in the Executive Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance.
The IRA is the Government agency mandated with regulating, supervising and developing the insurance industry in Kenya.
The College of Insurance is the only public training institution in Kenya and the Eastern Africa region with the mandate to carry out training and certification in professional insurance programmes. The College prides itself in being the regional centre for excellence in insurance training.
Objective of the programme
The purpose of the course is to increase the knowledge of Kenyans about insurance services. The programme is intended to impart knowledge of insurance to Kenyans of all walks of life and enable them to earn an income through selling insurance. It also aims to encourage them to buy insurance to meet their own needs.
The target group includes, but is not limited to, community leaders, persons involved in other trades and professions, women group leaders, small traders, leaders of local organisations, school leavers and religious leaders who must be county residents.
The training and examination are offered free of charge by the IRA, the sponsors of the project. Participants will be required to meet their travel and accommodation costs.
The course is open to Kenyans of integrity, resident in Baringo County. They should be holders of a KCSE certificate, over 24-years of age, literate and able to communicate in English and Kiswahili.
The training will be held in Baringo County for two weeks as follows:
Week 1: Essentials of insurance 26–30 October 2015
Week 2: Introduction to insurance practice 2– 6 November 2015
Trainees will be examined at the end of each week.
The course will cover life and general insurance including selling skills, micro-insurance, communication, agriculture insurance and takaful (Islamic) insurance.
Successful trainees will be awarded certificates during a graduation ceremony on 20 June 2016.
Participants who successfully undergo the training and examination will be awarded the Executive Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (ECOP). They will be eligible to be licensed by the IRA to sell insurance.

Duly completed forms should be returned to Baringo County office at the Ministry of Education and Youth Affairs on or before 21 October 2015.
