Directory of Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows

The Directory is one of the largest undertakings of its kind for any international awards programme. It contains the names of almost 20,000 individuals who have held CSFP awards, and career profiles of over 1,800. Itself a product of Commonwealth collaboration, the publication was made possible by funding from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (UK) and Department for Foreign Affairs and International Trade (Canada). Production was undertaken at the Association of Commonwealth Universities.

The Institute of Commonwealth Studies Online Catalogue

The Institute of Commowealth Studies Library is part of the University of London Research Library Services (ULRLS) http://www.ulrls.lon.ac.uk/. The ULRLS comprises the Institute Libraries of the School of Advanced Study and the Senate House Library, and has its own shared Catalogue . All books and periodicals are now catalogued on the system, thanks to a special grant from the Higher Education Funding Council of England.

The Institute of Commonwealth Studies Online Resources

These resources index articles published in thousands of print and electronic scholarly journals and are an essential tool for finding published research in your field of study. They contain bibliographic information so each article record will contain the title of the journal it appears in, along with the volume, issue, and page numbers, and the date of publication. Most will also provide a brief summary, or abstract, of the article. In some cases, access to the full-text of an article may be available.

The Political Archives Project

This website is the product of a project sponsored jointly by the Institute of Commonwealth Studies (ICS) and the Institute for the Study of the Americas (ISA) aiming to improve access to and use of their extensive collections of political ephemera. These collections are now fully searchable, and in addition a selection of the items can be viewed online in the gallery.
